The Ben T. Zinn Combustion Laboratory is a state of the art research facility dedicated to the study of combustion and fluid mechanical phenomena, and is home to the largest gas turbine combustion research group in the United States. The Laboratory is a shared resource for many combustion research teams, which consist of more than fifteen faculty members, a full time lab management staff, and many graduate students, visiting scholars, and post-doctoral fellows.  These teams work together to leverage a close collaborative research environment in order to enhance their academic and scientific missions, and maintain a suite of state of the diagnostic equipment for reacting flows.
